In general, the Historical picture site is for pictures of cars in a competition environment taking place in a bygone age be that 20, 30, 40 or more years ago. In the pre-1939 era, a great number of Austin 7's cars were used in competition including rallies, trials, driving tests etc. as well as the more obvious races and very few of these pictures are ever seen. It supplements the pictures on the Events pages, which are more recent. In time these, too, may be moved to the Historical page.
